Easier Tool for Personal Finance Management

Microsoft Money, the personal finance software created by Microsoft, has become very popular among many individuals. This software was designed for computers using the MS Windows operating system. Also available were versions for Windows Mobile to help customers with their personal finance management via smartphones and other mobile devices. Unfortunately, on June 2009, Microsoft had announced its plans to discontinue the sales of Microsoft Money. However, the company promised that they will continue to provide the support for the software until the last day of January 2011.

The news of Microsoft Money’s demise had saddened many of its customers, especially those that use the software in creating a budget for their special needs such as covering medical bills. Fortunately, less comprehensive toolsets for personal finance management were made available to the market by different developers and companies. For this reason, even a less tech-savvy person can now use personal finance software with ease.

Physically disabled individuals can also benefit in using personal finance software in creating a budget for their medical expenses such as medicines, therapy, and hospitalization without having to leave the comfort of their homes to go to the bank to check their accounts since the personal finance software can help them track charges and deposits made to their account with just a few mouse clicks.
